Why a mom should trust her self!!

This weekend we have had a nasty virus around our house. It started with the hand, mouth, foot virus. Then a little flu decided to get me sick. Now you say why trust you self?? I will tell you. I did not know my son had the HMF virus so we took him to friend (a doctor)  and he told me that is a yeast infection oh my son's bum and he has an ear infection. So we went to got pick up the medicine ( first time in 10 months ). When we gave my son the medicine on Sunday night he started complaining  that his feet were hurting, itching something. He was not happy. We then gave in Tylenol to help with the pain I also put lavender and peppermint on to help. Nothing helped so I got out what we never use a anti histamine. That worked but I did not feel right giving this to my child every time I gave him he medicine something had to be done. I thought and talked to few people and realized it  most likely was not an allergic reaction but it was some kind of reaction. I then decided to take him to our regular doctor on Monday ( he is slow to medicate). He told me there is no ear infection and the rash is not a yeast infection. He has HMF. Well that it was I thought he had in the first place. I told him what oils I was doing and he told go back to what you were doing and stop the other things it is making the virus worse. So in the end I wasted $25 dollars!!! But I learned a good lesson to trust my mother's intuition. As for my cold I  that would normally last 2 weeks has lasted 3 DAYS!! So you ask what oils did you use. I used purify, lavender, Melaluca diluted with coconut oil on my son's rash and  the BOMB on his feet to boost his immune system and help fight the virus. For me I used the BOMB. It has not been fun but we are getting over things and back our normal happy, busy life!! When a doctor tells you there is nothing you can do for a virus they are wrong there is a lot you can do. There is help out there!!
